One of these innovations, the RX560-MD RadiForce 5-megapixel colour monitor, is particularly noteworthy. With two 21.3-inch, 5 megapixel resolution monitors, it is ideal for viewing breast examinations. It also boasts a space-saving construction and new functionalities. Since the RX560 MammoDuo set consists of two monitors on a single stand, it requires far less space than conventional side-by-side configurations. The RX560-MD has an innovative hybrid gamma PXL functionality that automatically differentiates between greyscale and colour pixels and generates a hybrid reproduction. Grey or colour pixels are displayed with the respectively optimal luminance characteristic curve. This ensures the highest levels of precision and reliability if colour and monochrome images are displayed at the same time.
Moreover, the ‘Work-and-Flow’ functionalities on the RadiForce RX660, which EIZO will demonstrate at ECR, are particularly efficient. One of these is the ‘Point-and-Focus’ functionality, which makes it easy for users to select and highlight the analysis field. Users can quickly select and focus on relevant image sections using their mouse or keyboard. The brightness and greyscale value can be adapted if necessary, in order to optimise the display.
At ECR, EIZO will also present monitors that ensure proper image reproduction in clinical departments during medical review. These MX-series devices can also be used in diagnostics, depending on the model and examination method. The RadiForce MX315W, which will be presented at ECR, is one such device. It allows medical professionals to view the required DICOM greyscale characteristics at the touch of a button. The large display surface of the MX315W provides enough space for many images as well as for 3D reconstructions.
The EIZO RadiCS and RadiNET Pro quality control solutions will also be on display at ECR. These provide comprehensive monitor maintenance and validation. Calibration, acceptance, consistency testing, and archiving all number among typical image quality control functionalities.
EIZO will also demonstrate its CuratOR Alipe video management-over-IP products for flexible, lossless video data transfer via IP networks for the first time at ECR. The SP2-24T-49 Surgical Panel is an image reproduction solution for operating theaters that combines the HIS and PACS Station in a single device. The Caliop video management and control software, another part of the CuratOR product range that will be on display at ECR, serves as the system’s central user interface.
Finally, EIZO will also present projector- and display-independent video distribution on a projector at ECR; this can be used in an operating theatre or a room where X-ray results are discussed, for example.
The EIZO stand (510) is located in Hall Expo X5.
