Hakusan, Japan, April 18, 2023 – EIZO Corporation (TSE: 6737) today introduced the ColorEdge CS2400R – a 24.1-inch sRGB color management monitor for hobbyists who enjoy creating and editing digital content such as photos, illustrations, and more. It is the successor to the ColorEdge CS2410 and features modern USB Type-C® connectivity and sustainable packaging. The ColorEdge CS2400R covers 100% of the sRGB color space, so content intended for viewing in an sRGB environment, such as websites, digital illustrations, or mobile apps, appear as intended. Furthermore, the monitor supports EIZO’s free proprietary ColorNavigator 7 calibration software, which ensures the screen maintains color accuracy. The monitor joins EIZO’s line of color management monitors which are equipped with USB Type-C connectivity. This allows users to connect a laptop PC using a single cable to get started on creating without worrying about excessive cable clutter or needing to reconnect multiple USB peripherals. The USB Type-C connection also supplies up to 70 W of power to a connected device, such as a tablet or laptop, eliminating the need for a bulky power supply unit. The monitor’s sleek cabinet design and non-intrusive stand base allow it to fit comfortably in any creative environment. A carrying handle on the back allows users to easily move the monitor between locations.  Contributing to a more sustainable future remains an important goal for both businesses and consumers who are looking to manufacturers to carry out environmentally friendly initiatives. Since 2021, EIZO has been transitioning several products from its various product lineups to more environmentally friendly packaging as part of its company-wide efforts. The ColorEdge CS2400R supports these initiatives with packaging using more sustainable cardboard and molded pulp in place of conventional styrofoam and plastics.
