Antonio J. Bazalo is a senior editor and colorist who combines his work in post production with training as a Master Trainer in Spain for Blackmagic Design. In recent years, in addition to teaching the official course in Barcelona, he has trained major companies such as Mediaset, Radio Televisión Española, and the Corporación de Radio Televisión de Galicia. He is also the host of Blackmagic Design's official events in Spain and currently provides remote training for all of Spain and South America.
His professional career began in 2002 in film post production using Sony Vegas, as well as writing and directing several short films. In 2007 his second facet as a teacher emerged through Final Cu Studio, then Final Cut Pro X and finally DaVinci Resolve and Fusion. He is a consultant for several post production houses in Spain, freelancing for houses such as Moonlight Cinema, TV3, and Blackmagic Design's official resellers. His latest work as a colorist incudes campaigns for brands such as Planeta, Tous, and Macallan, as well as various documentaries and music videos.
